Cupid's Choice

This donut might be one of the few things I am going to miss about February.  It's custard filled. And pink.  And heart shaped.  And delicious.  And my ass will appreciate it no longer bring on the menu at Dunkin' Donuts.  That Brownie Batter donut can go and I won't miss it one bit...too much chocolate.

February in Cleveland is one of me least favorite--it's cold, it's snowy, it's grey.  Did I mention it's cold? So I am happy that March is just around the corner-not just because The Ginge is scheduled to return to Cleveland...for good. March also means spring is just around the corner.  And Daylight Savings Time (3.10).

I opened up to you, and you judged me.

I am not a huge movie-goer.  I love random documentaries more than most movies.  Hello Jiro Dreams of Sushi, I am looking at you.  (That movie makes me want to travel to Japan for that sushi and I don't even love sushi.  I don't even really like fish.  That's how good the documentary is.)  But I did see Silver Linings Playbook.  It was great!  And not just because Bradley Cooper isn't terrible on the eyes. (I actually don't really like him, I always see him as the character from He's Just Not That Into You.  I almost can't move past it.) SLP is almost too tough to watch in spots because of the mania.  But, mental illness is sometimes very tough to watch in real life so the filmmakers did a really good job of capturing this.  I can't wait to see this again.

Side note: when I grow up, I would like to look like Jennifer Lawrence. I can't wait to see her Oscar Dress this evening.

Sunday Bacon

Bacon woke up and saw the snow outside.  Looks like there's two unhappy campers in this house.
Is it Spring yet?!

And I feel....

I recently purchased my first Deborah Lippmann nail polish and I am wondering what took me so long.    Maybe it's the price tag ($18!).  Maybe it's the fact I don't know of any actual stores in the area that carry it (but Amazon and Beauty.com carry it).  Who knows!  But I. LOVE. IT!!! This photo was taken after 6 days of wear.  And I have the teeniest of chips on one of my pinkies.  Usually I paint my nails on Sundays but it's in such good shape I had a hard time justifying the polish change.

Actually I bought this and Cleopatra in New York but Cleopatra's on backorder.

Sunday Bacon

While sitting on the computer in the kitchen,
I look in to the living room and I see that I am being watched.
